-Oversee art and design direction for all digital marketing applications and touch points handled by the User Experience team

-Manage digital brand and style, ensure proper application and consistency across Farmers digital marketing products to create a premium user experience

-Responsible for leading the UX/UI design and strategy for Farmers.com, one of the company’s largest revenue streams which receives an average of 2.3 million unique visits and 27,000 insurance quotes a month

Highlights

Worked alongside project stakeholders to develop a long form content ecosystem within Farmers.com that would help increase premium brand perception, aided consideration, and engagement for users browsing for insurance. The 100+ pages of rich content created contributed to the following results and increased metrics:

-10% lift in aided consideration post exposure

-Increased conversion (quotes started) by 6% in major product categories

-Decreased bounce rate by 16.37%

-Increased average time spent on pages by 46%

-Design and content optimization drove improvements in organic search rankings, increasing page views by 125%

Senior UX Designer, Farmers Insurance   Oct 2012 - Aug 2017

-Worked alongside developers and project stakeholders in an agile environment to build fully responsive web pages, mobile apps, email platforms, and marketing content. Job responsibilities included ideation, design thinking, sketching, wire framing, hi-fidelity design, information architecture, user research and product testing before launch

-Conducted user experience research (moderated/unmoderated usability sessions, interviews, ethnographic research, A/B testing, heat mapping analysis) to gather data, validate hypothesis, study the efficiency of designs and iterate further

-Provided UX/UI design direction to establish a universal look and feel for all of Farmers digital touch points

-Optimized mobile quoting experience on Farmers.com to increase throughput by 20% on mobile devices.

-Through A/B testing and customer research, launched a new Farmers.com homepage increasing conversion rates(quotes started) by 5% in 2017
